The value for money was great and the room was clean and cozy. The location of the hostel was convenient, close to food and the beach. The staff treated me like family and were very welcoming and helpful. Plus, Halo the dog was a fun addition to my stay.
Menu for breakfast could have had more options to choose from.

We were impressed from the start by the friendly reception at Halo. the hostel has a spacious, fresh, new, clean feel to it. It is small and intimate, and surprisingly quiet for a city location. the staff provided a very personal approach and spoke good English, making communication easy. the private room we stayed in was exceptionally clean and had lovely decor. the hostel is in an excellent location, within walking distance to cafes, a mini-market, and a fantastic vegan restaurant. Highly recommended!

The owner's hospitality, generosity, and warm welcome made me feel like part of the family. He took us to unique destinations, shared his passion and city's history, and treated us like long-time friends. The facilities were top-notch with clean rooms and lovely lemongrass and lime-scented ambiance. The location was convenient, just a short walk to the beach and center. The staff was amazing, providing helpful advice and even accompanying guests to the train station. The rooftop balcony was a peaceful spot for yoga and pilates. Truly lovely people!
Not obvious to find.
